J Lo / Affleck Wedding Celebration
August 2022 – Riceboro, Georgia.
Free-Standing Simple Archway
The wedding team asked us to design and build a massive minimalistic arch structure for Jenniffer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s August 2022 celebration at Affleck’s beautiful 87-acre southern plantation in Riceboro, Georgia, located about 50 miles south of Savannah.
Our team at Mobile Metalworks LLC designed the arch structure to meet several criteria, including being free-standing, with no additional support cables, and no hardware showing. In addition, the structure had to be anchored to the ground to be structurally stable with minimal surface impact.
The team requested it to be constructed and disassembled with minimal equipment and manpower. We met the planner’s requirements, and the Mobile Metalworks LLC crew pulled this off in under a month from design, build, and installation.
Arch Design, Fabrication, & Installation
We designed and machined the arch sections at our shop in Guyton, Georgia. Our crew assembled the arch for the all-out picturesque wedding celebration at Mr. Affleck’s property in Liberty County. The event followed the couples’ summer elopement in Las Vegas.
